Yayasan Prasati Perdamaian (YPP) is a non-profit organization established in January 2008. YPP focuses on peacebuilding and conflict transformation through research, community engagement, and evidence-based programs. YPP works in the field of Countering Violent Extremism (CVE), particularly on the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals affected by extremism, including former offenders and vulnerable groups. Through community-based approaches, YPP aims to strengthen social cohesion and community resilience. The organization also pays close attention to gender- and child-sensitive approaches by supporting women and children affected by terrorism-related cases. This work is carried out in collaboration with government institutions, civil society organizations, and local communities.
YPP is looking for a dedicated and well-organized Program Coordinator to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of peacebuilding programs.
The selected candidate will coordinate projects related to community resilience, reintegration, youth engagement, and prevention of violent extremism. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with different stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and implementation in line with organizational goals and donor requirements
- Coordinate field activities and support program staff in delivering project activities
- Maintain communication with government partners, donors, local organizations, and community leaders
- Monitor program progress and prepare narrative reports and project updates
- Support budget monitoring and ensure resources are used effectively and transparently
- Ensure project activities are implemented on schedule and meet expected outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Sociology, Peace and Conflict Studies, Law, or other related fields
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project or program management within the NGO sector
- Experience in peacebuilding, CVE, human rights, or community development is preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong understanding of social issues related to extremism and community resilience in Indonesia
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and handle sensitive information professionally
