URGENTLY REQUIRED – FINANCE OFFICER

Yayasan Prasati Perdamaian (YPP) is a non-profit organization founded in January 2008 that focuses on peacebuilding and conflict transformation through research, evidence-based interventions, and community engagement. YPP works extensively in Countering Violent Extremism (CVE), with a strong emphasis on the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals affected by extremism, including former offenders and vulnerable groups, through community-based approaches that strengthen social cohesion and resilience. The organization also prioritizes gender- and child-sensitive interventions by working closely with women and children affected by terrorism-related offenses to support their recovery, psychosocial well-being, and successful reintegration, in collaboration with government institutions, civil society organizations, and local communities.

YPP is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Finance Officer. This role plays an important part in ensuring strong financial management and accountability across all programs.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Officer will be responsible for supporting financial operations and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Main responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports for donors and internal management
  • Ensuring all expenditures are in line with approved budgets and grant agreements
  • Managing daily accounting activities including bookkeeping, journal entries, and bank reconciliation using SANGO accounting system
  • Handling tax obligations including PPh 21, PPh 23, and PPh 4(2)
  • Maintaining proper documentation to support internal and external audits
  • Monitoring cash flow and processing payments and staff reimbursements

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the NGO or non-profit sector
  • Strong financial reporting skills, especially in donor funded projects
  • Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations
  • Experience with accounting systems such as SANGO is an advantage
  • Good written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to integrity and accountability

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
