URGENTLY REQUIRED – PROGRAM OFFICER

Yayasan Prasati Perdamaian (YPP) is a non-profit organization established in January 2008. YPP focuses on peacebuilding and conflict transformation through research, community engagement, and evidence-based programs. YPP works in the field of Countering Violent Extremism (CVE), particularly on the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals affected by extremism, including former offenders and vulnerable groups. Through community-based approaches, YPP aims to strengthen social cohesion and community resilience. The organization also pays close attention to gender- and child-sensitive approaches by supporting women and children affected by terrorism-related cases. This work is carried out in collaboration with government institutions, civil society organizations, and local communities.

YPP is looking for a proactive and community-oriented Program Officer to support the implementation of peacebuilding and community engagement programs. The selected candidate will work closely with program participants, local communities, and project partners to support field activities, coordination, reporting, and program implementation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of program activities based on project work plans and timelines
  • Coordinate with program participants, local communities, and relevant stakeholders during field activities
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of activities, including attendance lists, photos, and meeting notes
  • Support logistical and administrative preparations for workshops, meetings, training sessions, and focus group discussions
  • Assist in collecting program data and information for monitoring and reporting purposes
  • Support communication and coordination within the project team

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Community Development, or other related fields
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in NGO, community work, social programs, or related activities
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship or volunteer experience are welcome to apply
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Comfortable working with communities and people from different backgrounds
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic digital tools for reporting and documentation
